BCD Meetings & Events grows global Enterprise Solutions team

CHICAGO, IL – March 29, 2017 – BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) is expanding their global Enterprise Solutions team with the addition of two new leaders. Shauna Whitehead joins as VP, Global Account Management and Nancy Medoff as VP, Global Sales.

Whitehead will own BCD M&E’s global client base and customers with assigned account management structures, leveraging her 20 years of experience to proactively focus on customer-centric account management and stakeholder engagement while growing BCD M&E’s reach within their client base.

She has vast experience operating in leadership roles in North America, Asia Pacific and Australia, with extensive global industry knowledge and diverse responsibilities ranging from strategic account management to organizational growth strategies to innovation and optimization solutions. She has previously held direct responsibility over implementation, process and technology teams and has led multiple technology implementations, configurations and platform migrations, in a global environment. Whitehead was previously with CWT Meetings & Events where she most recently led a North American organizational restructure to a specialized service delivery platform, setting the foundation for global expansion.

Medoff will have full responsibility of pre-sales and new customer acquisitions within SMM and life sciences clients, leveraging her 25 years of sales leadership and team development to propel new business growth. Her keen focus on talent development, processes, customer centricity and sales plans will further expand BCD M&E’s global sales discipline and focus.

Medoff joins BCD M&E from Marriott International where she held numerous roles leading global and regional sales teams; most recently responsible for the Northeast Group Sales Team consisting of seventy-five sales associates and $230 million direct sales revenue to thirty-four full service hotels in five major Northeast Markets. Prior to that, she ran the global sales organization where she managed the global strategic relationships with 350 multi-national corporations generating $3.8B in annual revenue into Marriott’s 4,000+ properties worldwide. Medoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Tourism and Travel Administration from Boston University where she currently serves as an adjunct professor. She also has an MBA from Keller Graduate School and is a WINiT mentor with extensive speaker experience.
