International Teochew Youth Convention

The Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce in Beijing tasked BCD Meetings & Events China with delivering the 11th International Teochew Youth Convention, held from November 13-15, 2023, at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing. The goal was to create an event that would bring together over 1,500 young people of Chaoshan origin from 20+ countries and 28 provinces across China, while celebrating the unique cultural heritage of the Chaoshan community.

BCD M&E China provided comprehensive logistics and event services for the three-day convention, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. To highlight the rich Chaoshan culture, the team organized a culinary and artistic showcase by bringing chefs and performers directly from Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. This included daily deliveries of fresh Chaoshan delicacies, such as the iconic beef meatballs. The team also managed all on-site arrangements, from venue setup to cultural programming, ensuring an authentic and immersive experience.

The event successfully united over 1,500 young people, fostering connections and celebrating Chaoshan traditions. Attendees were treated to authentic cuisine and vibrant performances, leaving lasting impressions and strengthening community bonds. The convention was widely praised for its flawless execution and cultural authenticity, reinforcing BCD M&E China’s reputation as a trusted partner for large-scale, culturally significant events.
