Global Guest Incentive Trip
Logistics and creative for an award-winning event
Success Story
The Brief
Our team was asked to plan the logistics and create a spectacular trip for 130 staff winners and their partners from all around the world at The Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia – with memorable daily events and local, never-to-be-forgotten dinners.
The Story
For many travellers this was their first trip to Africa, so we wanted to create a uniquely Africa experience for attendees. After arriving in South Africa, attendees had a night in Johannesburg before departing for Livingstone on a chartered aircraft so that all delegates travelled together.
Attendees spent their days partaking in local tours arrange arranged rotation-style, so all guests were ensured of the same experience. Extravagant dinners included private dining on the lawns at Royal Livingstone Hotel, a cocktail event aboard the privately chartered “Lady Livingstone” on the Zambezi River and a spectacular gala bush dinner under the stars at the end of a gorge.
To add an authentic experience to the trip, the group spent a day supporting a local project to uplift a rural village school by providing plumbing, painting and other maintenance support in areas that required attention. This allowed participants to have one-on-one interaction with the area and its inhabitants.
The Results
The trip was highly successful and participants enjoyed the opportunity to experience Africa first-hand. The local project interaction was especially emotional and gratifying for all the participants.
