An impressive year for BCD M&E underlined by significant growth in both turnover and profits

LONDON – 18 September, 2018 – BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) has announced a 300% increase in profits in 2017.

BCD Meetings & Events Ltd has announced a 300% increase in profits in 2017, the first full year of trading since the acquisition of Zibrant Ltd in July 2016.

The pre-tax profit of £2.4m includes the combined trading of both BCD M&E and Zibrant for the twelve months ending December 2017, compared to an equivalent £810,000 for 2016. This represents a very encouraging result driven by a 23% increase in turnover, as well as efficiencies gained through synergies across the wider EMEA business. New client acquisition and growth is expected to continue to fuel further development in 2018.

In addition, in late December 2017 BCD M&E also acquired the Grass Roots Meetings and Events businesses in the UK, US, Germany and Switzerland with these acquisitions providing an even stronger platform for growth in the coming years.
