New meetings technology implemented in 12 LATAM countries in 3 months.
The client needed BCD M&E to facilitate the introduction of a meeting technology tool across the business’ multiple teams in Latin America.
The aim was to form a unified process that would strengthen policies and procedures, and that would grant the client greater visibility of meetings volume and expenditure.
BCD Meetings & Events initiated a regional, unified implementation of Cvent, via a phased approach. By working with key stakeholders and assigning new responsibilities across the team, we established a strong support network that would ensure the success of the technology tool, without having to depend on external resources. These included a regional role to support training and creation of SOPs in each market, as well as a Business Analyst, incorporated to lead data quality and reporting.
Standardization of processes and third-party support were also implemented, and included in the closure of each event.
By implementing the technology tool across all 12 countries in under three months, the client gained full visibility of online data for its meetings volume and spend.
Each country was provided with documented processes that streamlined operations on a regional level, along with a separate process that took local nuances into account.
The business now operates with the confidence of 100% adherence to compliance and transparency.
